Riverfront Park & Campground

Riverfront Park & Campground is the perfect place to pitch a tent, park an RV, or set up a trailer. Nestled between April and October, this campground is a great way to experience the great outdoors. Whether you’re looking to relax and unwind or make memories with friends and family, Riverfront Park & Campground has something for everyone.

Making a reservation at Riverfront Park & Campground is easy. Just give the Campground Manager a call at 913-290-0034. Keep in mind, if you’re planning a trip during the busy holiday weekends of Memorial Day, July 4, and Labor Day, you’ll need to make your reservation at least 14 days in advance and pay in full. Unfortunately, fees for these weekends are non-refundable.

The campground has 13 pads that can accommodate RVs, trailers, or tents, all with electricity. Someone in the party must be 18 or older to reserve, pay, and be present while camping. Keep in mind, we only book reservations for a period of up to one week, so this isn’t the spot for long-term camping.

Restrooms and shower houses are available for paid campers who have paid the key deposit. There are also three water hook-ups in the campground, but campers will need to bring their own hose splitter and hose to hook up to water. Electrical outlets are 30 amp, and we recommend our site for campers or trailers less than 32′ long, as campers may have trouble crossing the railroad tracks if they are longer.

Riverfront Park & Campground is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and has quiet hours from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Check-in is at 4 p.m. and check-out is at 11 a.m. Fees include $15/day for camper sites with electricity, which includes restroom and shower house use (key deposit required), $2/day for pet fee per pet, $10/event for the dump station for non-campers, and $20/stay for refundable key deposit (waived for RVs with fully contained restrooms). The key deposit is required for all campers receiving restroom key, it’s refundable upon checkout, but will be forfeited if the key is lost.
