Shower
An RV shower is a type of shower specifically designed for use in motorhomes, trailers, or campers, especially when dry camping (camping without water, sewer, and electrical hookups). The main goal of an RV shower is to conserve water, reduce the amount of wastewater produced, and save battery power.
The process of taking an RV shower typically involves very short water usage, often less than 2 minutes in total. It’s quite similar to a navy shower, which is known for its efficiency in water usage. The user turns on the water to get wet, then turns it off to lather up with soap, and finally turns the water back on briefly to rinse off.
Owners of smaller RVs or vans often choose not to use their built-in showers, especially if they are staying in a campground. They might prefer using the campground’s shower facilities instead, as these are generally larger and don’t require the same level of water and waste management as the showers inside smaller RVs. This choice helps to conserve the limited resources available in their vehicle.
