Lakeview Campground

19799 N Raum Rd, Lawson, MO 64062

Lakeview Campground and RV Park is the newest spot for outdoor fun and relaxation in Lawson, Missouri. Overlooking the beautiful Lawson City Lake, this campground offers 21 full-service sites with electricity, water, and sewer for just $40 per night. Each site comes with its own fire-ring and covered picnic table, so you can enjoy the great outdoors with all the comforts of home.

The campground also features a shower house with family-friendly bathrooms and coin-operated laundry, a shelter house and playground for the kids, and a camp host available to help out if you need it. But the real star of the show is the lake itself. The City Lake complex offers a walking trail, an 18-hole championship disc golf course, and a fishing dock and boat ramp for all your aquatic adventures.

While swimming is not allowed at City Lake, the Lawson City Pool is just a short drive away and is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day, so you can cool off and have fun in the sun. And if you’re looking for a place to host a special event, the Lakeview Event Center is available for private rentals like family reunions, weddings, and more.

But before you pack up the RV and hit the road, there’s one important thing to keep in mind: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS THE RAUM BRIDGE WITH A CAMPER OR RV! The wooden bridge has a restricted weight limit and is a one-lane arch bridge, making it very difficult to cross while towing. Instead, follow the yellow or green route for the best way to get to the campground.

The yellow route takes you from 69 Hwy and PP Hwy, head East on 204th Street opposite of PP Hwy, follow for 1.8 miles to T-intersection, take Right/South onto Tri County Line Road, follow for 0.8 miles, Turn Right/South onto N. Raum Road, Campground entrance is ¼ mile down Raum.

The green route takes you from D Hwy and KK, head North on KK Hwy and follow for 2.2 miles, Turn Left onto W 208th Street and follow for 1 mile, W 208th Street turns slightly left and becomes N. Raum Road, Follow for 1.5 miles to campground entrance.

So, grab your camping gear, fire up the RV, and head on down to Lakeview Campground and RV Park, where the lake is the cherry on top of an already delicious camping sundae. With all the amenities you need and a picturesque setting, it’s the perfect spot to pitch a tent and make some memories.
