Part-timer
A part-timer in the RV world is someone who spends a significant portion of the year living in their RV, but not all year round. They might use their RV for several months at a time for traveling or living, but they don’t consider it their full-time residence.
In the context of RV insurance in the United States, the distinction between a full-timer and a part-timer is often defined by the amount of time spent in the RV. Insurance companies specializing in RV coverage typically set the threshold for being considered a full-timer at around five or six months per year, depending on the policy of the insurance carrier. So, if someone spends less than this amount of time in their RV, they would be categorized as a part-timer for insurance purposes.
