King-pin support

A king-pin support is a device used with fifth-wheel trailers to add extra stability to the front of the trailer. It’s often designed as a tripod and attaches to the king-pin, which is part of the fifth-wheel trailer hitch system. This support is especially useful when the trailer is parked and not attached to a vehicle.

Most king-pin supports are adjustable. They typically come with a hand crank that lets you change the height and level of the support to match the trailer’s needs. By using a king-pin support, the front end of the fifth-wheel trailer remains stable and secure, reducing any wobbling or movement, especially when you’re moving around inside the trailer. This adds an extra layer of safety and comfort to your RV experience.
