Blue Springs Lake Campground is a really cool place to go camping in Missouri. It’s located by a 720-acre lake located in Blue Springs and Lee’s Summit. There are 6 picnic shelters, a swimming beach, trails for biking and hiking, and a marina where you can rent boats. You must be 21 or older to buy a permit to camp and you need to have the right kind of camping unit.

You can only camp with a tent for 5 days out of 14 days at all county campgrounds. And you can camp with other types of units, like a fifth wheel, bus, motor home, travel trailer, pick-up camper, or pop-up for 14 days out of a 30-day period.

If you want to camp during the weekend, you must stay Friday and Saturday nights. And if you want to camp on a holiday, you must stay for at least 3 nights. You can only have 5 people per campsite and big groups aren’t allowed.

Campground helpers are at the campground from 9am to 9pm. You must finish making your reservation by 9pm. You can make a reservation online or by phone using a credit card. You can’t drive through the campground on weekends or holidays. And you can only have 3 pets. Blue Springs Lake Campground is run by Jackson County Parks and Recreation. The campground is open April 1 – September 30: 8 am – 5 pm, DAILY and October 1 – March 31: 8 am – 5 pm, Monday through Friday.
